WebPull the packing nut all the way back to expose the threads of the valve’s spindle. Apply about 3 wraps of Teflon tape on the spindle threads. Screw in the packing nut until just hand-tight. I also moved the cut off for the icemaker to above the cabinet floor so that we didn't have to empty the cabinet and pull up the panel to get to it.
